When a severe Ontario storm unexpectedly brought a tree down on her son and daughter-in-law’s home, one devoted Toronto mother stepped in to host a last-minute, emergency baby shower at her own residence. To transform a stressful setback into an atmosphere of pure joy, she commissioned a custom order of four dozen signature handmade Canadian shortbread chicks, delicately dipped in white chocolate and tinted with soft pastel yellow and pink.
